Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain: Naseej BSC (c) one of the Kingdom’s leading real estate and development companies announced that it has signed an agreement with SSH appointing them as the lead Design Consultants, as well as an agreement appointing DG Jones & Partners as Quantity Surveying Cost Consultants on its multi-million dollar project CanalView at Dilmunia.
The signing ceremony was held at Naseej’s headquarters at the Bahrain Financial Harbour and present were Naseej’s Managing Director Mr. Mohammed Alsayed and General Manager Mr. Ahmed Al Hammadi joined with SSH’s Resident Director Bahrain & East KSA, Mr. Andrew Barwick and DG Jones and Partners (ME) W.L.L. General Manager Bahrain, Mr. Christian Boujaoude.
During the ceremony, Mr. Alsayed made note of the detailed tender process that took place prior to the appointment of both consultants saying that Naseej had invited several pre-qualified companies to submit their proposals for the proposed project on CanalView at Dilmunia. Mr. Alsayed also pointed out that Naseej followed a strict and transparent tendering process undertaking extensive due diligence that resulted in the official appointments of SSH and DG Jones & Partners as key partners to develop the Project.
Mr. Alsayed also affirmed that these deal closures represented substantial steps towards the successful delivery of The CanalView project to the Bahraini marketplace as well as adding yet another iconic real estate landmark to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Naseej’s General Manager, Mr. Al Hammadi said, “Valued at a cost of BD24 million, The CanalView project is located in Dilmunia Health Island in Al Muharraq and will be developed on a land size of 13,068 square meters. This mixed use development features a main podium with number of multi-story buildings, with approximately 250 residential apartments on offer, retail spaces, restaurants & cafes, shops and service outlets all of which will be built overlooking the canal basin and feature waterfall, offering spectacular views of the coast surrounded by green spaces and landscaped gardens”. Mr. Al Hammadi also mentioned that the Project’s site within the Island of Dilmunia offers an excellent location where integrated projects come together thereby offering a destination for those seeking luxury and excellence in real estate projects adding that the units will be offered for freehold purchase.
