PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS IN RELATION TO WORK IN PROGRESS AT AL MADINA AL SHAMALIYA

During quarter one of 2018, a number of public announcements were made that concerned the overall work in progress at Al Madina Al Shamaliya (Northern Town- Bahrain). In February 2018, H.E. Eng. Essam Khalaf, Minister of Works and Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning issued a statement speaking about the major 8-lane highway that connects Al Madina Al Shamaliya to Bahrain is a major 8-lane highway that withstands around 16,000 cars per hour.

Another article of national importance, was the public announcement that was made by H.E. Eng. Basim Bin Yacob Alhamer, Minister of Housing that related to beneficiaries of the Ministry of Housing’s Mazaya Program. He noted that the Ministry was working on improving the terms and conditions relating to eligibility and qualifications requirements in order to cater for more applicants looking to benefit from the housing program.
